Description

Three years ago, Daily Driven Exotics transformed this Ferrari 599 into one of the most recognizable Ferraris on the internet. Today, that same chrome gold Ferrari was finally supposed to leave for GoldRush Rally. There was just one problem. Days before the rally, the gated manual conversion failed, leaving us stranded in Nashville with a broken shift cable and almost no time to spare. With replacement parts rushed in from EAG and access to Late Garage, we had just 24 hours to tear apart the interior, replace the cables, adjust the linkage, and somehow get the car back together before GoldRush officially kicked off. What should have been a simple repair turned into one of the most frustrating jobs we've ever tackled. Endless adjustments, broken hardware, no sleep, and plenty of panic later, we finally got all six gears back and took the DDE Ferrari 599 on its first drive before the rally. Along the way, we crossed paths with Jake, Remmy, Keller, Kyle, Jack Ultramotive, and the rest of the crew before the start of GoldRush. But first, we had to make sure we actually had a Ferrari to bring. This is only the beginning. The GoldRush Rally videos are going to be insane. #Ferrari599 #DailyDrivenExotics #DDE #GoldRushRally #Ferrari #Ferrari599GTB #ManualSwap #GatedManual #Supercar #ExoticCars #Code3Media #FerrariLife #V12 #CarBuild #FerrariProblems #GoldRush #RoadTrip #Nashville #FerrariV12 #Valvetronic
