Yamen’s story: Waiting for medical evacuation at Nasser hospital

More than 18,500 people are registered for medical evacuation from #Gaza. Still, 1,092 patients died while awaiting evacuation between July 2024 and Nov. 28, 2025, according to the Ministry of Health. Yamen, a child who suffered a dangerous relapse in his heart condition, is a patient inside Nasser hospital waiting for medical evacuation. Months of displacement, poor nutrition and harsh living conditions have weakened his heart muscle to just 20 per cent. Listen to his mother share his story.
