Did you know that hermit crabs don’t grow their own shells? They rely on the shelves of other animals like sea snails for their homes. In this video, I found a huge hermit crab that was living inside of a small broken seashell. When I picked up the seashell to observe the hermit crab, the hermit crab jumped out of its shell and into my hands.
