Trump's Brazilian coffee tariff backfires as China comes to the rescue

China has come out with a huge show of solidarity for Brazil after US President Donald Trump slapped massive politically motivated tariffs on that country yesterday. Despite having a trade SURPLUS with Brazil, Trump raised tariffs to 50% yesterday, affecting products like beef, coffee, and oranges, but China has come out promising to help some of those industries, particularly Brazilian coffee. Foreign Minister Wang Yi has vowed to help Brazil fight back against Trump’s tariff bullying, and promises solidarity between BRICS members and Global South countries. Trust me, Trump will be fuming!
