Easy Chapli Kabab Ingredients
For the Kababs
500 g mutton keema (with 10% fat)
2 medium onions, finely chopped and squeezed (about 150 g)
2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped (about 150 g)
1 inch ginger, finely chopped
4 green chilies, finely chopped
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp crushed red chili flakes
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
½ tsp black pepper powder
¼ tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
½ tsp shahi jeera (or regular cumin seeds)
To Grind Coarsely
1 tbsp whole coriander seeds
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp anardana (dried pomegranate seeds)
Other Ingredients
1 handful fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 egg
½ cup makki ka atta (cornmeal)
(or wheat flour / lightly roasted besan)
Chutney Ingredients
½ cup fresh coriander leaves
2–3 dried red chilies
2–3 green chilies
2 tbsp soaked tamarind (imli)
3–4 garlic cloves
½–¾ tsp salt (or to taste)
2 tbsp water
For Serving
