This isn’t a takedown video. Peter is a serious geopolitical thinker, and he is right that NATO is changing. The United States is prioritizing China. Europe has leaned too heavily on American strategic enablers. And the old NATO burden-sharing model is breaking. But that is not the same thing as NATO ending. In this video, I go point by point through Zeihan’s argument and explain why the evidence points to something different: NATO is not collapsing. It is becoming more European. The U.S. is shifting from being the primary conventional defense provider in Europe to being a nuclear, strategic, logistical, and high-end backstop. That is a major change. But it is not the end of NATO.
