I. Issues Raised by the Public 🗣️ Citizens, farmers, and delegations from various rural areas, including Jam Ghulam Qadir Unar, Ghulam Qadir Malukani, Murtaza Kamal, and Mumtaz Mangi, raised concerns regarding: Irrigation: Fair distribution of canal water and desilting of canals. Drainage: Elimination of waterlogging and salinity (Seem-o-Thoor). Illegalities: Removal of illegal encroachments on canals and illegal water courses. General Welfare: Issues related to transport and the welfare of persons with disabilities (PWDs). II. Minister's Directives and Resolutions ⚙️ Addressing the Khuli Kachehri, Minister Jam Khan Shoro announced several key measures: Drainage Solution: He stated that Shaho Chhaddon (شاہو چھڈن) has been made fully operational to solve drainage issues, including the elimination of illegal water courses in the Jamrao Canal command area (جمڑاؤ کینال کی کھاٹی). This will resolve drainage problems in Sanghar District, including Shahdadpur and Tando Adam. Illegal Water Cuts: Directed the Director Nara to eliminate illegal water courses. Tree Cutting: Directed the establishment of additional check posts (مزید چیک پوسٹ) to stop illegal tree cutting. Immediate Action: Instructed concerned officers to resolve multiple complaints immediately, stating that improving the canal system is the government's top priority (نہری نظام کی بہتری حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہے). Farmer Consultation: Directed the Deputy Commissioner to hold a meeting with the Abadgar Board (آبادگار بورڈ) to seek suggestions and resolve farmers' issues according to their wishes. Water Distribution: Reassured that actions against illegal water cuts and strict adherence to Kharif and Rabi season schedules would continue to ensure fair distribution of canal water (نہری پانی کی منصفانہ تقسیم). III. Other Concerns and Demands 📝 Water Scarcity: Mubeen Dars raised questions regarding the shortage of drinking water in Sanghar city. Farmers' Rates: Farmers presented various problems, including the lack of appropriate rates for crops (فصلوں کے مناسب ریٹ نہ ملنے). The Minister solved some issues immediately and assured to consult higher authorities for others. Infrastructure: Anjum Aftab Nizamani, President Press Club Sanghar, demanded the construction of speed breakers (اسپیڈ بریکر) in front of schools and colleges on Nawabshah Road. Municipal Corruption: The Minister directed the Director Local Government to conduct a full investigation and submit a report regarding alleged tampering/misappropriation (خرد برد) in the NITs (Notice Inviting Tenders) within the Local Government department.
