Filmed by @juansharks at @OneOceanDiving , we start in slow motion so you can see the subtle body language, then switch to real time to feel the full speed. Tiger sharks can burst at ~20 mph, and when I'm diving with them, every second counts. I replay footage later to analyze my movement, their movement, the tiny cues we'd miss otherwise. This season is special: we've spotted five new juvenile tigers, a few sub-adults, and some mature sharks — along with honu near shore and the albatross finishing their fledging.
