For tour dates visit: http://www.andrerieu.com/tour "Auf der Jagd" (translated as "At the Hunt") is a fast-paced, lively polka composed by Johann Strauss II in 1875. It’s formally titled "Auf der Jagd, Op. 373" and is one of his many schnell-polka or "quick polkas." In his lifetime Strauss composed over 500 pieces. Not only waltzes but many lively polkas. They are full of humour and I’ve been performing them with my Johann Strauss orchestra since the very early days.
