Inside the haunted history of the Banff Springs Hotel

Grab a flashlight and some marshmallows because the Banff Springs Hotel has enough ghost stories to keep you up all night! This majestic hotel, nestled in the Canadian Rockies, has been called "The Castle in the Rockies," and let's just say, some of its guests never checked out. Ever heard of a hotel room so haunted they had to brick it up? Legend tells us in 1928 a man murdered his family in Room 873. Guests who stayed in the room afterwards reported bloodcurdling screams in the middle of the night and seeing bloody handprints on the mirrors that wouldn't go away, no matter how many times they were cleaned. The hotel eventually bricked up the room to keep the spooks at bay, but some say you can still hear strange noises in the hallway outside where the room once was. We went to see for ourselves and there was definitely a paranormal entity roaming the hallway. Most shocking of all was how much he looked like Waffles!
