When I returned from tour I found this new handpan in my shelf. It’s a scale that I wanted for SO long, and finally my handpan maker had time to build it for me. It’s an iconic old school handpan scale called 'Jibuk' and its structure follows a completely different logic than my usual handpans. I sat down with it and had a hard time feeling it. So I set myself the challenge - to make peace with this instrument and take as much time as necessary, to fully feel it and embrace the sound and vibe. So I came up with this peace and played it on and on, still with the beautiful memories of my previous tour present in my heart. This one’s dedicated to all of you - my listeners.
