Over at the venue, Brendon spent the morning with his stepson and close mates, sharing laughs and getting ready in his perfectly chosen suit before heading into the ceremony. Their ceremony, led by the wonderful Renee Wilkins, was heartfelt and deeply personal. Kirsten and Brendon exchanged emotional vows, rings, and shared a beautiful handfasting ritual, where the children brought forward the rope that symbolised their family being tied together as one. It was loving, meaningful, and full of connection. Praise Mountain Farm is one of the Sunshine Coast’s most stunning and flexible wedding venues, offering everything in one location — from ceremony to reception — with open paddocks, rolling hills and golden light at sunset. Despite the threat of storms, the weather delivered the most magical conditions for portraits, allowing us to capture their love surrounded by nature and soft golden tones. With no bridal party, the focus remained entirely on Kirsten and Brendon — documenting their connection, laughter and joy during their photo time. The reception was just as relaxed as the rest of the day, featuring heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, a beautiful first dance, and an incredible pizza dinner by Farmer Brown’s Pizza.
