Another Dimension? Time Portal? What Was Really Hiding in the Mel's Hole?

Art Bell with his show ‘Somewhere in Time’ would bring strange and unexplained stories to the airwaves. Tonight, Art is talking about a very interesting fax he received from a man by the name of Mel Waters who described a hole that’s on his property somewhere near Ellensburg, Washington. Mel goes into detail about the hole which he measured to be around 9-feet in diameter. Mel thinks it could be some ancient well. There is a stone retaining wall around it that goes about 15-feet-down, but from there down you can see nothing. Mel is asking for help from Art or any of his vast amounts of listeners in trying to identify what this hole could be. Now, you’re probably thinking ‘It’s just a hole, how strange can this tale get’?
