Four days before Christmas, we’re reminded that while 25 December may not be the actual birth date of Jesus, it is a powerful opportunity to celebrate Him. In this message, The Wonder of the Son, we pause in the Christmas season to eat, rest, reflect, and let our hearts overflow with thankfulness and gratitude. Drawing from Isaiah 9, Luke 1, and the beauty captured in The Chosen, this sermon explores who Jesus is to us—Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace—and who He longs to be to you. We look at the nature of God’s Kingdom: just, peaceful, secure, ever-increasing, and ruled by a faithful King who never forgets His promises.
