They Can’t Speak, But Their Needs Are Clear

Today I went back to the seaside to feed the street cats. There was another storm warning, so I came while the weather was still calm. When I filmed, the sun was out and the wind had slowed. A few people were also feeding the cats, which means some of them had already eaten—and that’s a good thing. Some cats were full, so instead of feeding more, I spent time with them. On my way back, I picked up two cat shelters I had bought last year. They’re small, but better than nothing if the weather turns bad. As I’m editing this video, it’s almost 1 a.m. It has already rained heavily several times and the wind has picked up again. There’s another warning for tomorrow, so I’ll return when it’s safe. Last year, I placed twenty shelters here. All of them were destroyed or removed. If these two remain, I’ll bring more. These cats have nowhere to go when the waves rise and the rain starts. These cats can’t speak, but their needs are very clear.
