Envoy: King Charles III recognizes Filipino contribution to UK

As the United Kingdom marks the official birthday of His Majesty King Charles III, British Ambassador Sarah Hulton highlighted the monarch's recognition of the contributions of Filipinos to British society. Hulton noted that around 35,000 Filipino nurses are serving in the UK's healthcare system, describing them as among the many Filipinos helping strengthen ties between the two countries. The ambassador said the King's Birthday celebration is also an opportunity to recognize the longstanding friendship and people-to-people connections between the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
