Planespotting HIGHLIGHTS: Rare & Special Movements FRANKFURT Airport

Dear friends, as the holidays are getting closer and closer, we thought to give you a compilation of some of our personal highlights from Frankfurt Airport, that we have recorded over the past few years! We are also preparing the RIAT departure days, as well as a new autumn and winter spotting Planespotting from Frankfurt! UR-CSK An-26 & 4L-GEN B742F During the covid crisis, Frankfurt Airport saw a rapid increase of Cargo traffic & charters. Next to more DHL and AeroLogic traffic, we also got some occasions of old metal! So we got to film the Eleron Airlines An-26, which was used in the film "Expendables III"! Its last recorded flight was on December 29, 2021, landing in Poland. Since then, there have been no publicly available records of subsequent flights. Therefore, its current status and location are unknown, and it's unclear whether it is still in operation, also due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Next to the visit of the AN-26, Frankfurt was pleased to see the Boeing 747-200F returning to the skies above Germany!
