World's Fluffiest Dog 😳 Meet Lumi the Samoyed #dogphotography #streetphotography

Did you know that about Samoyeds? 😳 As a dog photographer, I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. But if there’s one breed I’ve always been smitten by, it’s definitely Samoyeds (I mean, have you even SEEN my profile photo?! Lol) So I was super excited to meet Jackie & Lumi, a four year old Samoyed living in NYC. Now, believe it or not, even if you don’t recognize the name, you’ve PROBABLY seen Lumi on your feed before. You know those videos of a big white fluffy dog riding the subway in a backpack? Yeah - that’s Lumi 😂 Jackie has been dreaming of adopting a Samoyed since she was just a kid. And in the years leading up to her finally adopting Lumi, she did a TON of research into the breed’s history, temperament and characteristics. She taught me so much about Samoyeds that I didn’t know before - like how they used to babysit children and keep them warm while the tribe went out to hunt/explore. ❄️ Their gentle demeanour, aloof nature, and deep loyalty makes them a great family dog. And Lumi shoed us ALL of that during this photoshoot lol. Plus I’m pretty sure he experienced love at first sight when he saw Rachel from @tailtalksinterviews 😂 Lumi and Jackie were so fun to photograph.
