Prices double, ferries are packed, and you’ll wait an hour just to take a photo of a door. I love Greece, but it’s a better experience in May or late September. Trust me. 2. Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 It’s green, it’s peaceful, and summer doesn’t hit like a sledgehammer—but don’t expect sunshine. You’ll get mist, drizzle, and midges (tiny, evil insects). Still, there’s something magical about Scottish summers if you’re okay with wearing a rain jacket to the beach. And the long daylight hours? Kinda beautiful, actually. 3. Spain 🇪🇸 We’ve talked about this—Spain in July is not a vibe unless you enjoy feeling like a roasted almond. You have to shift your whole life: no movement before sunset, dinner at 11 p.m., and tourists everywhere. It’s intense. Spain is incredible, but give me spring or fall, please. 4. Luxembourg 🇱🇺 It’s tidy, clean, and feels like a fairytale village—but summer? Just sort of… there. Not too hot, not too crowded, not too exciting. A good weekend stop, but not a place I’d plan a full summer trip around. You’ll probably enjoy it more if you’re into calm and quiet, or banking museums. 5. Egypt 🇪🇬 You will fry. It’s not “hot,” it’s oven. I tried doing temples and tombs in July once—I felt like I was being slowly baked. Combine that with intense sun, crowds, and the pushiness in tourist zones, and it becomes exhausting. Egypt is an epic destination, but save it for cooler months unless you really enjoy extreme heat and aggressive bargaining. What do you think do you agree or not?
