FLARE Bandit 19 I’ve wanted to fly this rock wall for two since, the first time I laid eyes on it I knew it was only a matter of time. It’s public spot so needs to be a quiet afternoon, also needs a lot of wind given its size. Everything aligned last week and I finally scored it. The wind picked up just after sunset, when this shot was taken, and nearby live obs were saying 24-31 knots. I knew it was windy, but didn’t expect that. I was on my limit at times, serious conditions for sure. But ended up being the best session I’ve had in a while. I still love my Moustache, and have been flying it more. But The Bandit gives me something the Mo can’t. It’s a fucking weapon!
