'SHAM!' - Farage and Jenrick LAY WASTE to Labour's 'genuinely HORRIFYING' new grooming gangs inquiry

Nigel Farage and Robert Jenrick have said they has "absolutely no faith" that Labour's new grooming gangs inquiry will give justice for victims. The Reform UK leader said: "I've wanted a national grooming gangs inquiry, I've done everything I can to try and push the Government into it. "The problem is any third party inquiry is a waste of space unless you can subpoena police officers, social services, civil servants, who were all part of of turning the collective blind eye, and I think everything this Government has done on this issue is an attempt to literally kick the can down the road, to not fully open this up." The comments land as the grooming gangs inquiry releases its terms of reference, set to be laid before Parliament when it returns from recess on 13 April. It will then launch a full-scale investigation into group-based child sexual exploitation across England and Wales. The probe will examine how these gangs operated and how institutions — police, local authorities, health services, social care and schools — responded to the abuse. Armed with statutory powers, it can compel witnesses to give evidence and force organisations to hand over documents.
