In a world shaped by AI, speed, and information overload, what does it really mean to “know” grammar – and why does it still matter? In this webinar, we will explore how limiting beliefs about grammar affect learners, why grammar remains the backbone of clear, confident communication, and how teachers can foster a healthier, more empowering mindset toward the subject. Drawing on our collective teaching experience and current realities of AI-assisted writing, we will consider how much reliance on tools is helpful and when it becomes harmful. Participants will leave with practical insights for reframing grammar as a meaningful skill, guiding students toward high accuracy (not perfection), and teaching in ways that celebrate human judgment, creativity, and connection alongside linguistic competence.
