Oz: High pressure grows in south, downpours develop esp in Qld & northern NSW (12/2/26)

A cold front has cleared Tas, Vic and the A.C.T and will continue to track northwards today, bringing rain/showers and thunderstorms and a temperature drop. This slightly cooler change will go as far north as the southern NT and southern parts of Qld, helping to trigger some widespread thunderstorms and rain. We track which areas are most exposed - and which regions will remain mostly dry.
