A customer recently asked me how to apply EMUL8 to clips shot in S-Cinetone, so I made this quick walkthrough. The good news is that S-Cinetone is "almost" a Rec.709-based image, which makes the workflow super simple and fast. I’ll guide you step-by-step through the process: adding an adjustment layer, applying the EMUL8 effect, choosing Rec.709 as the camera input and selecting your favorite look. Then I’ll show you how to make basic color corrections like adjusting highlights, midtones and shadows directly on your clips before fine-tuning your final look.
