60 Minutes pure aviation, today with the beautiful red Boeing 747-400 of National Airlines. I filmed this great looking jet once again, this time at Maastricht Airport where it departed to Mexico. The aircraft arrived from Bucharest a few hours eaerlier. Not the herons on the ground which flew away when the B747 was coming closer.
The red B747 is an anniversary plane of National Airlines which exists to celebrate 25 years of existance. The aircraft used to be a firefighter plane, better known as the Supertanker. National bought the plane, re-converted it into a normal cargo plane and is using it for cargo flights ever since.
