Dan is the founder and CEO of Pantera Capital, a San Francisco-based investment firm which since 2013 has focussed on Bitcoin and other digital currencies. In all, Pantera manages $2.8 billion in blockchain-related assets and has invested in several crypto exchanges including Bitstamp, Coinbase and regional exchanges such as the Mexico-based Bitso. His early life and career are equally impressive, graduating from Princeton University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and receiving the highly acclaimed Carmichael Prize for outstanding thesis.
