Description
I’m 40. If you’re in your 20s or 30s, please watch this video till the end and read the caption.
I was 28 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through that journey, I realised something very confronting, that I was 100% responsible for my health, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
That’s when Yoga came into my life. It is not just a physical practice, this system offers solutions for every aspect of life. It teaches us how to let go and also how to build. Yoga helped me heal the emotional baggage I had been carrying for years, guilt, shame, unresolved trauma.
I also didn’t realise it back then, but processed and packaged foods, mindless eating, lack of movement, and dairy were silently creating deep imbalances in my body, thyroid issues, PCOD, mood swings, and eventually cancer.
Shifting to a plant-based way of eating changed everything. It helped me heal my body from scratch, food stopped being just comfort and became nourishment. That’s why many people who have seen my journey feel like I have reversed my aging 😅
What most people don’t realise is that chronic illnesses and mental health challenges don’t appear overnight. They quietly begin developing in our 20s, through habits we ignore, through stress we normalise, through lifestyles we think we can fix later.
And the truth is, your 20s are also the easiest time to adapt to a healthy lifestyle. Your body is more receptive, your patterns are still forming. But honestly, starting now at any age still helps, the body always listens when you begin to listen to it.
Today, what excites me the most is the opportunity to share this knowledge with the world. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went through. I wish for every human being to take charge of their life before something traumatic forces them to.
🌿 Let’s take charge of our lives before life forces us to.
