Ford continuous in the GT4 category with a new Mustang Dark Horse-based race car. In 2024 it was it's first year of competition. The GT4 follows the reveal of the Ford Mustang GT3. The Coyote V8 engine in the Mustang GT4 is developed by Ford Performance. GT4 cars are based on production cars with performance modifications. To ensure equal performance between different brands and models it use a Balance of Performance (BOP).
