"Snow" Patrol: Day 7 Update ~ Great Lakes Bald EagleCam & North Sky Raptor Sanctuary 🦅 "This video demonstrates Snow receiving his three daily breathing treatments as described in yesterday's post. The nebulizer includes a measured dosage of a product called F10SC, which is a veterinary disinfectant that is particularly effective against a wide range of pathogens, but is entirely safe for use around animals when diluted. For the purposes of assisting with aspergillosis, F10SC can be used as a direct nasal flush, but is most frequently diluted at a 1:250 ratio with distilled water and nebulized (converted to a fine mist) for inhalation to allow it direct access to the lungs and air sacs, thereby increasing the likelihood of direct contact to any infection within the respiratory system. These breathing treatments will continue to be administered until such time as he is asymptomatic.
