Today was such a special day for our family. Watching Daddy Ji tie a Pagh on Noah for Cultural Day meant more than words can explain. When I first moved to New Zealand for primary school, I had long hair and a joda. I was proud to be a Sardar — but I was bullied, pushed around, and called names. Eventually, I cut my hair. It’s something that stayed with me. So seeing Noah walk into primary school wearing his Pagh with confidence and pride… it was emotional.
