In Teso, smallholder farming households in the districts of Katakwi and Kaberamaido are building resilience to climate change while improving food and nutrition security. Through enhanced agricultural practices, improved post-harvest management, and better access to markets, agropastoral communities are strengthening their livelihoods and creating more sustainable futures.
Implemented by FAO in partnership with WFP and funded by the Government of Norway, this three-year initiative strengthened local institutions and supported vulnerable groups, including pregnant and lactating women, contributing to healthier, more resilient, and economically empowered households.
