I visited Shackleton’s Hut in Antarctica

Visiting Shackleton’s Hut at Cape Royds will always be special. This was my third visit to the hut, but my first based on a ship. On my first two visits, I drove over frozen ocean to arrive, but this latest was a Zodiac on the ocean. Seeing the different landscapes at different times of the year made for an extra interesting visit. The easier access meant the Adélie penguins were in their colony, with several chicks around. I think this is one of my favourite places in all of Antarctica.
