Yarns over the years: Celebrating 20 years of NVT

For two decades GRDC's National Variety Trails (NVT) program has been supporting Australian growers and their advisers with trusted, independent results to support varietal decision-making. Over that time, yields and disease resistance have improved. The 2025 GRDC grower survey shows that nine out of 10 growers accessed NVT information, and 94 per cent of those said it influenced their variety selection.
