Description
So, what village was once known as Devilish? It was Devenis in the Domesday Book and is now known as.........?
Well its Dewlish, and that's where we are walking today 😀 Starting at Milborne St Andrew, we make our way to Dewlish via Weatherby Hill Fort and the chalk ridge, and then return again further up the same ridge. With two lovely villages, and two beautiful, historic churches, plus some amazing views and countryside.......not to mention tales of suicide, ghosts, woolly mammoths and much more, this certainly was a devilishly good walk 🙂 Oh, and there was a small matter of an impassable footpath!
