Description
Nissan’s new-generation ‘D27’ Navara has arrived in Australia with a familiar face.
Based on the Mitsubishi Triton, the Navara shares the same 150kW / 470Nm twin-turbo 2.4L turbo-diesel engine, available with either part-time or full-time 4x4, depending on the grade.
Nissan Australia will only be offering the new Navara in dual-cab guise, mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. Pricing starts at $54,348 before on-roads for the base SL, and goes up to $68,418 for the top-spec Pro-4X
Our first impressions of the new Navara have been good but can this new-gen stand out in a crowded market? Editor at large Nathan Ponchard investigates in this review.
