How I found hope in violence

This is just my reflection on the hopelessness I felt as a kid that witnessed violence, and how it was violence that eventually gave me hope as a young man. As an adult, it's the expression and spirit of martial arts, with jiu jitsu as my main practice, that has been an outlet for my expression. What's your main outlet? And can you see the beauty in it? Does it inspire you? In a world that promotes darkness, I find it essential to look for those beautiful things and keep it in your life.
