Description
We're monitoring a tropical low over the NT today which is drifting eastwards towards northern WA, while high pressure continues the mostly dry weather in the south of the nation.
Between the northern low pressure and southern high pressure that easterly wind will continue, especially around southen WA.
Unfortunately, for those that really want/need rain in the south, the forecast continues to stay dry or mainly dry - we explain why it's this way for perhaps another couple of weeks.
But tropical showers will sink further southwards over the weekend and early next week, further into NSW and nothern parts of SA.
Qld also sees plenty of showers - but still in the mix are large dry areas.
