TVO KIDS MCCABE MYSTERIES - MCCABE'S GOLD [PART 2] (1994)

MCCABE MYSTERIES was intended to be TVOntario's version of the then popular kid series GHOSTWRITER, however after shooting a pilot episode it was not picked up by the network. Created by Cliver VanderBurgh (Today's Special), and written by Clive Endersby (Read All About It!), and starring the amazing Don Francks as a ghost, this spooky show could have been a classic... alas, we will never know. The pilot was split into 2 parts and aired on TVO on Halloween night, 1996. Retrontario’s primary mission is the preservation, research and exhibition of rare videotape recordings (1970s to 1990s) recorded off of any and all Ontario (and surrounding area) TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. We also hope to create an ongoing oral history of this content through comments left below the videos.
