Badoy, Defensor 'honored' to be included in cyberlibel case filed by Trillanes

Two of the respondents in the cyberlibel and perjury case filed by former senator Antonio Trillanes IV say that they are, in their words, “honored” to be charged. The two are former National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict spokesman Lorraine Badoy and former congressman Michael Defensor. Aside from the two, Trillanes also filed charges against the 18 self-described former Marines who claimed that they delivered suitcases containing billions of pesos to government officials. Badoy said that she is honored to be standing alongside what she described as courageous heroes. Defensor also said that he is honored to be included in the case alongside the soldiers, noting that the soldiers are the only ones speaking the truth.
