Description
I wanted to capture the sound of a jet airliner in cold weather. Sound travels well in the dense dry air and you can distinctly hear air flowing over an aircraft. It wasn't really cold but just cold enough. First you hear audio via a Zoom H4N recorder and then from the microphone on the Canon HF100. Not a huge difference but noticeable. I used the foam windscreen and did a 80 hz low-cut on the Zoom but it still caught some of the gusty winds from the cold front. No EQ added but I did crank the levels, maybe a bit too much.
