The Two BEST Engine Choices in the F-150 (In My Opinion) 😅

When it comes to the half-ton / 1500 truck segment, Ford offers some of the strongest engine choices on the market. In my opinion, the 5.0L Coyote V8 is one of the most well-rounded engines you can buy — naturally aspirated, strong power delivery, versatile for towing or daily driving, and proven reliable over many years. On the turbo side, I still believe the 2.7L EcoBoost is the best gas turbocharged engine in the segment. It’s overbuilt, efficient, delivers excellent low-end torque, and in my experience, has proven to be more reliable long-term than larger turbo gas options.
