24 Days of Prayer | Day 12

Today we focus our prayers on Australia’s schools and the children entrusted to them. We pray for young hearts and minds to be protected, and for truth about God’s design to be honoured in our classrooms. Childhood innocence is precious, and we pray it would be guarded with care. We also lift up parents, that they would be respected and informed, with the freedom to have a genuine voice in their children’s education. We pray especially of Christian teachers who feel pressure to remain silent, and pray they would be strengthened. We pray for those who lead our education systems, that good judgement would guide their decisions. May just laws prevail, allowing faith-based schools to teach in line with their values. Above all, may truth be restored in our classrooms and a generation raised grounded in God’s word.
