The owners don’t have a fence, and neighbors have started intentionally hurting the dogs that wander too far away from their home. Precious is a victim of one of those hit-and-runs. We’re doing everything we can to help her, but we can’t do this alone. Precious’s injuries aren’t life-threatening, but her healing journey will be far from easy. The bone in her hind leg snapped, restricting her movement and leaving her in agony. We’ve brought her to the vet, where doctors ran X-rays and administered pain medication. We’re fighting to stay hopeful for Precious’ recovery, but it’s a long road ahead, and money is tight.
