Description

Passed Away — Dua for a Brother, a Son, a Father, a Grandfather, a Cousin, an Uncle, a Husband, a Companion One day, our names will be spoken in the past tense. Our wealth, status, and possessions will remain behind, while only our deeds accompany us to the grave. The Prophet ﷺ taught us this beautiful duʿā’ for those who have returned to Allah: ‎اللهم اغفر له وارحمه وعافه واعف عنه “O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being, and pardon him.” If you have lost a brother, a sister, a parent, a spouse, a child, a relative, or a friend, do not stop making duʿā’ for them. A sincere prayer from a believing heart can reach them even after they have left this world. Take a moment today to remember your loved ones who have passed away. May Allah forgive our deceased, expand their graves, fill them with light, shower them with His mercy, and grant them the highest ranks of Jannatul-Firdaws. And when our time comes, may He make our final words: Lā ilāha illa Allāh. Ameen. Please remember your deceased loved ones in your duʿā’ tonight and mention them by name.
