It runs between Howrah Junction in Kolkata, West Bengal, and SMVT Bengaluru in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The train operates as number 12245 from Howrah Junction to SMVT Bengaluru and as number 12246 in the reverse direction. It serves the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal. Since March 11, 2020, it has been running with highly refurbished LHB coaches adorned with pure Duronto livery. As of August 10, 2022, the Bengaluru terminus changed from Yesvantpur Junction to SMVT Bengaluru.
