The aim of the program is to raise up “Pilgrims of Hope” who are connected across different contexts and cultures to protect and help restore God’s creation through localised initiatives. It is a synodal approach to connect schools in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji with Columban Missions abroad, creating cross-cultural exchanges in the different contexts and activities that are taking place to protect and restore God’s creation. What’s involved: The program consists of a 30-45-minute information session at schools run by Columban missionaries and the Columban Partnership Coordinator, connecting Laudato Si with a Gospel-centred mission on caring for God’s Creation and Biodiversity.
