I thought I would be dead at 27.

Russell opened up about the first sober event he ever went to, admitting he still had burned foils in his jacket pocket and no real intention of staying clean. He recalled telling a friend he'd be dead at 27, convinced he wasn't built for a life without drugs, only to realize years later he'd only had six months left of actually being 27 when he said it.
