Description
The OCN team returns to the hauntingly Möwe Bay on the Skeleton Coast. In one of the most remote areas on Earth, we should find untouched nature. Instead, we found the familiar, deadly sight of plastic.
Even here, far away from major cities, a few grams of discarded fishing line can become a death sentence. This rescue was particularly challenging - the seal was in immense pain and terrified, fighting against the very hands trying to set him free.
Seals are not the only species affected by plastic pollution, but maybe the most visible one. If we don't act now, the future for marine animals looks grim. We have to fight for them.
