New Renault 5 Gets Wild Group B Widebody Kit

The new Renault 5 and Alpine A290 have received an incredible rally-inspired transformation at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Milltek Design has revealed an all-new Group B wide body kit that completely changes the look of both electric hatchbacks while maintaining factory-quality fitment. Inspired by the legendary Renault 5 Maxi rally car, the new package adds aggressive wheel arches, a redesigned body, aluminum side skirts, an upgraded rear spoiler, and more. The kit has been carefully engineered to fit both the Renault 5 and Alpine A290 while using original equipment mounting points wherever possible for an easy installation. Production is scheduled for Autumn 2026, with the first limited production run already open for reservations. Starting at £2,000 plus Value Added Tax, this could become one of the most desirable upgrades available for Renault's newest electric performance models.
