Description
Dallas' beloved White Rock eaglets are growing up.
Last week, Dallas Park and Recreation, began receiving calls from concerned park visitors reporting one of the eaglets had fallen from the nest.
Conservation manager Brett Johnson on social media urged the public to "not panic." He explained that, “around this time of year, it’s a perfectly normal process because they are starting to learn how to fly.”
The fall marks a transition in the eaglets’ growth stages. They have moved out of the branching stage and are now beginning to fly. Johnson and the city’s urban biologist are monitoring the eaglets to ensure their safety.
